The SlimSAS interconnect solution was originally introduced to solve the need for space constraints. It supports SAS4.0 servers,
storage devices, workstations and other applications through multiple channels of high-speed signal transmission.
It is smaller than the previous HD MiniSAS and Mini SAS and has better signal integrity.
